Antique & Collectible Pottery & Porcelain

When collecting antique pottery & porcelain you are collecting some of the most delicate and beautiful items that man has ever produced.

Pair of Choisy-le-Roi Faience Jugs - 1Most antique ceramics will be Victorian or early 20th century and encompass the Art Deco, Art Nouveau and Arts & Crafts periods, but a large percentage of us have no idea what we actually have.

Pieces inherited from parents or grandparents, or antiques found in our attics, cellars, garages or the back of rarely opened, cupboards and box rooms are often difficult to identify.

Which is why most of us rely on good knowledgeable antique dealers and auction houses to provide us with genuine antiques & collectibles.

Collectors should be confident the dealer or seller knows that the piece of pottery or porcelain is from a particular manufacturer and dates from a specific period.

At Holly House Antiques we personally research all the antiques & collectibles we offer and provide as much detail as we can to reassure you, our potential customer, that the piece you are buying is exactly what we say it is.
